Either way, when we were tired enough.....we could have another pint.

Why can't we all just get a longneck? ;o)

Are you speaking of the Wen Ho Lee case? If so, his alleged espionage and leakage of nuclear secrets came during the mid to late 80's when Reagan and Bush (the skydiver) were in power, and though the Clinton administration tried prosecuting him, there wasn't much of a case and eventually had to let him go free after keeping Lee in solitary confinement for 9 months.

Point is that Ronald Reagan has a lot of blood on his hands...Hundreds of thousands brutally killed and tortured in Central America by right wing deaths squads that he and his regime actively supported; a million dead in the Persian Gulf region from arming both sides of the Iran/Iraq war; support of Osama bin Laden who killed thousands of Americans; and support for the apartheid regime in South Africa where hundreds of thousands were killed as well. Under his regime Osama bin Laden was taught that you can bring down a superpower and now that's been turned against the US. Under Reagan's regime, Sadaam Hussein was armed with weapons of mass destruction and we are now fighting a war in Iraq because of that. Far from being the greatest president of this century, the man is responsible for the death and misery of a lot of people all over the world, and the repercussions of his policies are still with us today.

Ok, I see where you're going with this. So Archduke Ferdinand's driver makes a wrong turn and the Archduke is assonated. Which causes WWI, which causes WWII, which causes the Cold War, which causes communism to spread in South America, which causes Reagan to sell arms...

Wow, if only the Archduke's driver were a Republican this would all totally make sense!

Good, so you agree Iraq had WMDs all along. Some of your posts in the other threads made me think you were on the other side of that argument.

Ah, that would be what you call a typo. And in true Reagan Republican form, I take full responsibility for the typo. There's no need to form a committee to understand why the typo occurred. No need to place blame on any particular parties. But feel free to return here in twenty years to second guess why the typo occurred and what world events were the direct result of said typo.
