| I think Langdon must have done that mailing - the Free Agent pool has jumped from 40 to more than 80 in the last hour - good news! |

I'm about to send out an announcement to any user that's not involved in the current season and has also submitted an entry in the past 5 years. Hopefully that can drum up some further excitement and squeeze out some extra teams.
Current teams of 10 could decide to split themselves up and add two additional users each from the Free Agent Pool, but I can see how that is not ideal or all that much fun.
ETA: There are lots of tweaks we can make... the first season was designed for different adjustments. We could go from 6 teams per division to 5, changing the factor from the previously mentioned 12 to 10, allowing for 40 teams. This would shorten the season though. If we went from 6 to 7 with 3 divisions, we could handle 42, etc. |

Alright. I just hope I can make it in. If I have to miss it due to some strange numbering crap, I dunno how much my fragile and tenuous hold on sanity can take it. lol. |

Sign up in the free agent pool. (click on League then select the free agent link on the left)
Also, you could check out the teams that aren't finalized yet and send the captain a PM.

| One of the problems with the free agent pool, right now, is that it is ONLY listed in order of percentile. This makes it next to impossible to know who the new people signing up are, once you've gone through the list initially. Any way we can quickly get an option to display newest signees? |

| I had such a blast during the last DPL, I just added myself to the free agent pool. :) There's nothing like team competition to really get the creative juices flowing. Last DPL I somehow managed 4 ribbons in 5 weeks... No guarantees of course, but those wishing to woo me can do so with fine craft beer, scotch, or an overall awesome attitude. :D Oh, and L glass works too. ;) This should be a lot of fun! |

Really quick question... is the "Out of the Ordinary" challenge the first of the season? I tried to quicky search theis thread but didn't see anything. Anyone want to help me out?

I don't think that "Out of the Ordinary" challenge is the first of the season since the entries for it won't be accepted after 3 days and 6 hours and the final teams would be formed in 3 days and 6 hours also. |

Sounds like you fit the bill for the perfect team captain for DPL2. :) Don't be worried about the "captain" title either -- once the team starts, there's really no additional responsibility imposed on team captains. |

not a clue what this thing is all about.. but whatever, I'm for sale.
note: I'm heading off to Bali, indonesia for 3 weeks starting april 24, which could mean very good things (because travel photography is a passion), or not so very good things (as in I might not be able to meet the challenge)
