Oh... forgot to mention HOW I found DPC. I honestly don't remember, however, I rediscovered it when  millsa informed me that he's signed up to a website called DPChallenge, "DPChallenge? What's that?" I asked... He explained the concept, all of which sounded oddly familiar and then he informed me that he found it c/o the link to it on MY website... DER! |

Not sure how I found dpc, but think I was led from another site which was really a bunch of cliques, and favoured photographers would get much praise heaped on their rather mundane photos. "Oh, Jason (whatever the name was), this is just such the coolest photo ever. You're brilliant." (Photo of roof tiles.) |

No, eyefetch started after I joined dpc; there was a bit of a kerfuffle when it started because of the alleged similarities with dpc... ;-Þ |

| 3/31/07. Three years next week. I was actually quite surprised when I found this site as I had been casually looking for a photo contest site for a while. I used to follow a site called digitalphotochallenge.com (was that it?) and then they ceased to exist one day. |

I think you're thinking of DigitalPhotoContest.com (and the associated DigitalPhotoCritique.com), which did just suddenly disappear several years ago.

| I joined in 2008 and promptly lost the link and forgot about it. A dear friend encouraged me (and paid) for my membership in November 2009 so that makes me a 4-month-old newbie. |
