It is possible I can hit 1000 before my own tenth anniversary in mid-April -- I think I still have 50-60 to go. Maybe Langdon can tweak things to make it the one millionth picture uploaded to the site ... ;-) |

Only 41 to go for you to get a 1000. Although  banmorn , one of my team mates in the WPL is just 24 entries behind you :) |

I know, although a few months ago when my mobility was restricted for a while I think the gap closed to as low as 12 or so ... maybe my New Year's resolution should be to cut back to only one entry/week! |

Would an image like this be illegal in a challenge. I shot the image on an angle and then rotated the image and now the backbround shows.

I think it would be legal. It's basically a big black border. Unless you skewed it. |

All I did was rotate the image in photoshop. The background that you see is the color the background is set to. Just take one of you images and rotate it 30 degrees and watch what happens. I just think these look neat when you shoot the image on an angle and then rotate it back. |

It's legal unless you use it to add negative space. As long as the background color is distinct as a border, it's OK -- I've done it before myself ...
 Also, see this gallery for a series of images showing a variation on this technique which I believe would be a Basic-legal way to create a non-rectangular image. |
