I was at five once, for the first vote. It was a five and ever since I've been in the low 4's. It's to bad we're not allowed to tell people how much work went into our shots. I'm sure that given the fact that the DPL is in place voting is a little more harsh.
ON A MORE PERSONAL NOTE!!!!!
The regional photography competition is tomorrow and I already have butterflies in my (much smaller) tummy. Two of the 8 categories have been dropped because only two out of 25 clubs entered photos in those challenges and the regionals require 50 photos for a category to be judged. Now I have four images instead of seven in competition tomorrow.
PLEASE keep me in your thoughts tomorrow.

While I'm here, thought I'd announce that me suck mojo is back, with a photo in the 4's for me for the first time in 18 challenges.

I'm not in the 4s, but I'm in the bottom 20% of 134 challenges with both of my shots.

Well I'm back and I have so really good news :) All four of my images placed in the competition. In the people general category I won first, second, and third place and in the photographers choice category I won third :)

Thank you for all your happy thoughts.
When we get the images back I'll take a photo and post it.

Here are the images two of which you have seen and two you have not.
 ...First place People General
 ...Second place People General (This was tied for first place and they had to judge them again)
 ...Third place People General (This placed one point below the top two 28,28,and 27 out of 30)
 ...Third place Photographers Choice (26 out of 30) The two images that beat me were stellar and I also thought that another few images were better but I'm not the judge.
I hope you like these, I'm already looking forward to shooting for next years competition :) It was fun to see all the photos and see what people enter and I think I'll enter more challenges and photographs next year.

I made an emergency "Henry's" run this morning to pick up a tripod ! I'm SO glad I did.
I actually went with a less expensive tripod than the one I'd wanted, and used the difference to pick up a "Lightsphere".
