I am convinced the amount of dirty play (voting from ghost accounts) has increased considerably the past couple of years. The patterns I see myself (a slew of 1-3's in a row in the very beginning of voting and otherwise 5-8's) points at this. BUT it could very well be that the vote scrubber catches some of this. Although I'd imagine it would be pretty easy for the 'real' trolls to bypass it. |

Yes...but if you follow my lamentations of earlier Im done trying to understand this. A lamb to slaughter I am. Hope you stay above 6. I was well above 6 and thought I would be safe..but there is nothing that a batch of 1's - 3's cant break. |

Moving up toward mediocre. voting is strange. Was getting mostly 5's and below up through 100+ votes. Now I'm seeing a stretch of of 6's and 7's and very few 4's.

Sounds like you could use a beer to go with that batch of votes! I agree with you, it's worthwhile to give up the hanging on every vote. The score really is not accurate until rollover anyway, I just tell myself if I hadn't watched I wouldn't know that it plummented the last day of voting, and the score would be fine . |

I wanted to say this as well but Im tired of posting here. Since you mention it...the same can be said on my score. Huge drop of .2 and votes remain the same. Nothing surprises me anymore |

This is only my second posting on the site, but my first one got 6.2364 which is making this submission feel a little weak... It sucks when you get a great Idea, spend almost an entire day getting everything together and shooting and it get scored less then a shot that took an hour.
I am excited to see which images do well. It's interesting to me to see what the general user likes, it helps me to see outside of my box of thinking. :) |
