Hello again, I am dying to know. How are people doing photographs black and white, with a touch of color mixed in. Can anyone please tell me ???

I use Photoshop and here is a good tutorial on how to do it.

I just lasso the desired area, and desat the rest.

Good point......it depends what you're trying to do, and for what, how you do it.

The way I put forth is NOT legal in Basic.
