...for those who included Velma -  - in their prayers. She passed away on Saturday afternoon, with a waiting room full of family and friends and with an extraordinary amount of grace, despite all of her pain. It was, in this case, a blessing. She kept her senses of both humour and self right up 'til the end. Her only real request - and, I think, her biggest concern, having seen her children secured in loving relationships - was that her cats be taken care of after her death.
Again, thank you for your thoughts and your prayers. She was an amazing woman. I just thought I would update. |

I must confess I have not come across your name on this site but I can feel your pain having lost my brother, sister and my closest friend in the last couple of years.
It helped me to think that at least the pain has gone away for them and I just have to remember the love they bought into my life.
I am sure you will do the same about your friend, mother?
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this sad time.

Thanks again to all of you. It's a tough time, but having seen her suffer, I know that her passing was for the best.
