2-0 after one!
Canada came to play, and isn't under-estimating Slovakia, which could have been a concern.
So far, so good, keep it up Canada! |

| Yeah, it's one of those games where the Slovaks are piling sandbags up against the torrent of offense, but now that Canada's on the board this will continue. They're outmatched and they know it. They're playing like it. The media couldn't have bought a better gold medal game. |

My guess is Demitra was telling Bobby Lou during the handshake "You know I shoulda had that shot right?"

| Off the crossbar with 3 seconds left. Yeah you could say that was close! Sunday will be good for many reasons. The Canadians are supposed to win and are loaded with more talent. So will the pressure to win be too much? Or will they fulfill their destiny to win their home Olympic gold in Hockey. The Americans are underdogs but have played well against all opponents. There must be something working well in their camp. |
