Canon EF 15mm f/2.8 Fisheye

or

Sigma 15mm f/2.8 EX DG Diagonal Fisheye

Both fall in the same price range where I am. Looking for opinions from owners of he lenses.

I've never used the Sigma, but I just bought the Canon. I've only used it a little around the house so far, no real testing yet. The only negative I noticed was that it is loud when focusing, but that's understandable since it doesn't have USM. I used to have the Zenitar, so the Canon is a big improvement. A lot of people report problems with the lens cap falling off. I think some people keep a rubber band around the lens to keep the cap on in storage; I had an extra Canon lens bag (LP811) laying around that prevents the cap from falling off.

Here are quite a few samples from the Canon 15mm Fisheye:

Nice.

Anyone with the Sigma version care to chime in?

Might be an answer in itself ;-)
I can't provide any info on the Stigma either, but just wanted to say that you cannot go wrong with the Canon. My *only* dig on this lens is the lens cap, which is not a secure design.

Sigma

Canon

These are the pages for the lenses on DPC. Just from looking at the shots I say go with the canon but that could have more to do with the users. You could always try to PM an owner of the Sigma to ask their opinion as well. I personally don't have one.
