I think our juniors would do better than our big fat headed pro athletes. Isn't the Olympics an amateur meet anyways? Shouldn't be any pros playing in this tournament as far as I'm concerned.

If indeed they banned all professionals in the Olympics, there would be no one left to watch. Very few of these athletes get there on their own dime and the really good ones rake in oodles of cash from advertisements and the like.

Sorry, but I don't share your views in this regard. I watch to Olympics (albeit not much) because I truly want to see the best, and that includes the pros.

Women's Hockey: Canada vs USA final - That should be a very good game.

I'm worried about Canada in this one. They seemed to just float through Finland, and I fear they've been a little too pampered and coddled through this tournament. I mean, so has the U.S. really, but I wonder if Canada is really going to be prepared for a fight of their life?

They are both pretty good teams. And both guaranteed medals either way, we can all be proud of their efforts and positive representation of our nations no matter what the outcome. That being said. I gotta throw in a cheer, Go USA!!!! looking forward to what should be a great game.

However, you win bronze and lose silver as the saying goes. Someone is going to be pretty disappointed.

Having just finally won my first ribbon here on DPC a 3rd place yellow. I can relate to your statement. lol But I also see it as a long effort finally being rewarded and I would hope that they would feel the same about just being up on the podium no matter what level. I think the fans will suffer the most hearbreak in the end.
