Long shot, but does anyone know of any DPCers who work in producing/publishing magazines? (As opposed to shooting for them)
I've spotted a job opening I want to go for and I was looking for some advice as to where I start. |

Not magazines specifically, but I have long experience in the pre-press aspect of the printing industry if that has any relevance to your question. |

I have actually hand-set individual letters of metal type to use on a (small) letterpress, but not since about the fourth grade. I've also used photo-typesetting equipment, light table and process camera in the days before desktop publishing, and I was using Photoshop before you could buy a digital camera. |
