Anyone know of a good place to get one of these pretty cheap? Lowest price I can find is about $699.
My buddy is going between the G2 and 707. Despite the fact that I'm a long-time Canon guy, I just think the feature set on the 707 (particularly that sweet lens) is just too good to pass up. I'm trying to justify to him the >$150 price differential.

If you can get one for $699, you should get it while the getting is good... they won't be around long...

I agree with John. The cheapest I've found now is over $700. Looks like the distributors know that the supply is running out and they are asking more. I got mine for $625 in late September.

| mine was about 2000us$ here in Iceland so count yourself very, very lucky |

i think if you go through the MSN web site you get more money off. A guy I work with told me about it. Not sure how it works, but it may be worth looking into
