Hey everyone,
Just returned from Memorial weekend trip to Chattanooga, TN. Most of the weekend was wet and overcast so didn't get much shooting in. But managed to have fun with the family anyways.
Here are a couple of flower shots that I've been working on. Feel free to comment if you'd like as to how/if they can be improved or they're alright as is... Boring? Blah? Better in color? Thanks for your time! :)

I put in a couple brief comments, but don't have the expertise yet to give you a good critique . . . I will leave that to the more able!! Nice pictures, though!

the 2nd shot has a nice feel to it - i am not a big fan of sepia though
and would prefer a more contrasty BW rendition

And soup, as for a B&W version, is this more what you were talking about?
The whites could probably be a little brighter, but this was just a first attempt. Thanks Again! |

that's more up my alley.
use curves to fine tune the tones.
