some photos taken over memorial day weekend.
comment if you'd like to - don't if you don't want to.
the toad photo - i have cloned out the blade of grass - but kind of thought it added a sense of scale. EDIT: i replaced the toad with the cloned version. /edit

I liked the uncloned frog the best.
Seriously, the frog is good but feels better if cropped a bit to take away some of the top left. "Trapped" needs a bit more detail, exposure, on the bird. "Knee Deep" really appeals to me. Especially the boke, which lends an etherial touch. "Fenced in" has no real subject and is difficult to fathom. (The focus is on the fence, but there's no object 'fenced' by it.) |

thanks, then fence shot was out of frustration with the fencing itself. i am all cut up from putting it up, and because it made me angry i thought i would try to capture the chaos of the tightly rolled spool...
the bird one was difficult it was flying madly around the back porch trying to find it's way out. it wasn't easy to meter on it... but i did like how the screen material looked, and thought the overall image was a bit strange.
if you like the dog shot focus, you might like this shot too.
