The person I noticed has well over 200 6+ scores...

For the record, I *never* expected to be leading this category, nor even close to it. My "surprise" was that more than 25% of my entries are 6+; I didn't think I had anywhere near that percentage.

5 out of 47, but the total entered challenges doesn't justify a percentage score. But, at least my highest 5 range from 6.0 - 6.6

140 out of 270 (not counting the 2 challenges currently in voting)

About 52%, which explains the barely over 6 overall average.

I just looked at one profile that had 219 out of 299.

Outstanding numbers David! A 6+ overall average is also very cool, especially with the high number of entries.

88/228 (39% - can't complain about that)
I got a slow start, but hopefully have been consistently improving. 6s are a lot more frequent these days than when I started - thanks to DPC! :-)

57/193 for about 30% since Mar 16, 2004.

... but, I'm getting better ... thanks to DPC

23/50 for 46% for my last 50 challenges since Dec 30 2007.

I only have a 1-pack. It starts right below my chest and ends at my waste line.

For those who do not think hanging around DPC can improve your photography take a look at this:

First 50 challeges 8 out of 50 for 16%

Last 50 challenges 35 out of 50 for 70% (about 60% of those entries in Free Studies)

Overall I have entered 180 challenges with 51 six plus scores for 37%

So needless to say I agreee that some of us take our victories in more ways than just ribbons. Go DPC!

Well, the voting trends change over time...f'rinstance, this image scored me a 6.5 in the "Rivers & Streams" challenge...



Whereas this one, a re-do with my dSLR, scored me a 5.94 in the Landscape V.



I guess what I'm trying to say is these can be skewed a bit based on who & when the votes are. Having said that, I have 20 6+ scores in 67 challenges (couple of DQs, too). 29.8%.
