most people join up at dpc and their photography improves......I joined and with each challenge my scores are going down. That's ok though...
.......I feel that I'm learning so much about photography (the comments and help are amazing thankyou), about what works, and doesn't - I'm looking at my own work with a different perspective, some of the stuff I do I really like, some is total rubbish *lol*
One of the best things about this place is that often I have this vision, but don't as yet have the ability to fully realise it, I get a glimpse but it's just not fully there......and here I'm learning just how to do that - so in the meantime.....
....I'll keep entering the challenges - they take me outside my comfort zone and make me look outside my world - I'd never have thought about taking photos to fit a theme.....that in itself is a challenge, one I'll meet one of these days :o)

Don't worry, Sue! Scores are all over the map for even the seasoned "gurus," whose portfolios I pore over to get ideas/inspiration/divine intervention! :o)
My scores are like yo-yos...up and down and up and down and up and down...you get the idea. I will reword a quote from a famous little blue fish that swam around your neck of the woods last year (Dory from Finding Nemo)...
Just keep clicking, just keep clicking, just keep clicking, clicking, clicking... :o)

You know Sue... I am in the same space as you at the moment. Just power through it. Discount the Banana challenge and you are going very well. The planets had something to do with the wacky scores in Banana.
BTW I love your feather shot in out of place.

Thanks Laurie....I figure 'the only way is up' :o) and it's going to be a lot of fun getting there
I looked in my pics files the other day......used to be just animal and fish pics, now there's everything. I stay up till all hours of the night taking pics of drops dripping into the tub....so between the clicking and the dripping.................

I wouldn't worry about it if I were you :)
My scores are all over the place, and in general haven't improved since I joined almost 2 years ago. I'm just up down up down. Depends how lucky I am during any particular week :P
