I wish I would have had time to go out and explore for this one -- it's one of my favorite subjects, but haven't tried much. I had to shoot something that was about 5 minutes away, because everything else would have taken hours, and I just didn't have time this week.
This is one of those times that I wish that 10 DPCers lived in my neighborhood. I thought the place that I went was interesting, but I couldn't do anything with it photographically. I'd love for 10 people to go and photograph the same place and see what they came up with. I'm sure there were plenty of shots that I just didn't see...

I think I had some great shots, but reviewing and editing in the last few hours before rollover does not allow me the time to find the right shot and tweak it for the best. I'll now be editing other shots from this session and wishing I had entered those.

what's getting me is i've gotten 4 votes of 3 this morning and no comments. wtf? the voting guidelines specifically say courtesy dictates a comment on votes of 3 or less. wtf.

It's not a rule, it's only a suggestion. I just got a 3 without explanation as well. For some members, that is a default vote for anything that does not reach out and impact them in any way, regardless of how well it is photographed. |

is not a rule, but i think that under the 4 (included) we have to write why, this goes to our interest too, not only at photographer that we're talkin about... |

You need to use a spreadsheet to calculate it. I use the one you can find linked on hawkeyelonewolf's profile page. |
