Penny linked me to this: Readability.
You drag the link to your bookmarks toolbar. What the utility does is remove all the extraneous clutter from web pages and organize the text like a page from a book; basically it turns your browser into an e-book creator. You can choose style and display size. It's absolutely terrific. Try it!
It's designed for long articles, BTW, not for web pages like DPC.

I saw this in David Pogue's (NY Times) weekly email article ... haven't been able to make it work with the AOL browser, and haven't tried yet with Firefox, but it looks like a great idea. |

Works great with Firefox. And the Pogue article is where Penny found it.

Now, that is nifty! I don't know what I'm going to use it for, but it's certainly going to come in handy somehow. |

For an article with multiple pages it's best to click on the "single page" option (if it's available, as it is in the NY Times on-line version) before clicking on "Readability". You will then have all the text as one continuous "readable" page. |
