I forgot to set my date on my new camera so does this mean my entry this week will have a time of 00:00:00? and if so will it be disqualified?

Normally, the EXIF data is only checked if there is an issue such as suspected filter or spot edit problems. So you should be ok. Honor system goes a long way here :)
