whoa! very few entries in this challenge! I can't compare with other people's landscapes, it's pretty here, but not that interesting. But I still got a few things I like.

Yeah and that is what I was going for but you have to be able to get there and I'm not talking a little snow but two to three feet a day has been dropping where I was going. The lowlands don't seem to be an option as it is pretty dull grey and wet so I think I'll just sit it out.

Pouring with rain and very grey the last few days. Gave it a shot today but myself and camera got drenched. There's one or two shots i may be able to do something with, we'll see.

Hope you did not get blown away on your journey! Should be some pretty dramatic shots if you went.

I went. Got some decent stuff, but nothing that would qualify as Ansel's "twelve good shots for the year". Getting up wasn't actually that bad. I woke up 2 minutes before the alarm went off (4:18 AM) and just got up. There was a 20 minute stretch of the drive where I was sorta sleepy, but the weather cooperated and there was no rain when I got to my location. :)

It did spike up over the weekend but not as many entries as I thought would be in a landscape challenge. I figured there would be close to 200 entries in this one like the centered composition challenge.

It's a rotten time of the year in the Northwest to do a Landscape image. Aside from some brief respites it's been non-stop rain. I managed to get one in the other day, and don't expect much for my effort.

Waiting for rollover with fingers crossed. I hate having to work so early in the morning's. I'm usually sleeping 3-4 hours before rollover and have to wait until the morning to see the score. Oh well, hope my image does well. I feel like I finally have a contender.

i've been back and forth amongst the two photos i've taken over the weekend. and I finally made a choice! hope it does well.

haha! Had a real nice unsettled weather day today and I have an entry(taken within about 10 miles of my home). you in with some purple hues??? :)

Just entered with an out-of-the-box image... HAHA - I'm sure I'll pay for it. ;-) The landscape around here now is so bare... However, I hope I managed to capture something that was still of interest and relevant to the topic at hand. Time will tell... teehee

PS Already exercising my tendons for the update button shuffle...

Are the copied-in scores not printing? I didn't see them here... And I know I posted my 5.* score previously. Now I'm happy to report that it is a 6.* score, but that doesn't mean anything at this stage (probably just means I'll be back in the basement before I go to bed tonight)! HAHAHA.

Interesting that there is a lot of seascapes & cityscapes in a landscape challenge. I could under stand cityscapes since they are on land. How does a seascape with more water and sky then land qualify as a landscape image. The prior challenges were the same. Just wondering.......Ok, I said it. Go ahead and eat me up...Lol. FYI, I didn't take this in consideration while I voted. Some Great work in this challenge. :)
