That has happened to me pretty regularly as well. I can't figure how anyone could reasonably revise an opinion from "pretty darn good" to "sucks". Best guess is that someone else is mad over the performance of their own entry and is punishing others. |

This happened to me on my 100th vote... I checked and it was 5.45. I checked again later and it was still at 100 votes but the score dropped to 5.30. I think this is very real!! and very crappy!!

I give up trying to understand the voters. This image of mine was at 5.700 after about 37 votes. Then it slowly crept up to 6.6678 at 87 votes and now it is steadily being voted down again.

| Lots of nice images. I'm guessing there will be quite a few scores around 7. Gave out a couple of 10's and many 8's & 9's. |

At 112 the score was 5.55xx then in one vote I bumped to this. I am very amused by how my score is trying to go up but it keeps getting knocked down. Glad not to be near the 4 score. |

Halfway I am at an average score of 4.7 and almost fall asleep. Not going to finish this....
ok, finished it and found some gems, but couldn get past a 4.71 average.... :(

I think there are a few folks that are positioning themselves for better placement. Quite unfortunate.
By the way, I went back last evening and bumped some scores due to the quality of the overall challenge and the quality of the individual images. My vote given rose from 6.2 to 6.4....

I always score each image independently. But I know that many voters rank all images in relation to each other. I guess that means that after voting on all of the images they might go back and start lowering scores in order to ensure that only the best images get the highest scores. |

I just got finished what I think is my last pass through the images - not one got bumped down, about three dozen got bumped up. Great comment from you Peter - thanks! |

Bumped down. Saturday votes have been harsh. But on the bright side I received a very nice comment from Melethia who gets it. Thank you so much.
I went back through and bumped a lot of photos up. Did not bump any one down.
