I am really enjoying the entire challenge experience, which of course includes photography and forum participation. I already voted on all the pics and enjoyed seeing the different and creative ways everyone chose to meet the challenge requirements.
I am currently working to complete my portfolio to get a job as a copywriter at an ad agency and my advertising classes follow this same format:
- Assignment is given
- Brainstorm ideas
- Develop ad (in the case of DPC, take your best shot)
- Have ad (or photo) reviewed, learn and improve
I\'m looking forward to hearing what people have to say about my photos and hoping these challenges push me to think more creatively.

Hey there Joey, I used to work as a copywriter. Helluva fast-paced business to be in but can be very rewarding. Anyway welcome to the madhouse, DPC is almost as much fun as being creative on demand! :-) |

Hey Snaffles,
That's great. I'm really happy that I stumbled on this website. It was exactly what I was looking for plus more! I know its going to make me a better photographer and I know its going to keep the learning process fun!
Being a creative at an ad agency is definitely right up my alley, I'm looking forward to breaking into the industry! Good luck in the challenge, talk to you soon!

On the one hand I'm thrilled, as this is my third challenge and I've improved my score yet again... on the other hand, it was so close to six earlier... now it's dropped. |

| I've been hit with nasty votes today 3 out of the 4 challenges I've entered. Multiple 2s and 3s. I think I'm going to have to turn off voting today. |

Thanks for the welcome (even though it's my 7th challenge). With any luck maybe I'll remain "respectable", thought I would in the motion challenge. Oh well. |

Think about it, if you polled a random group of people regarding what music they most want to listen to, sadly, you'd probably find that more people like Britney Spears than Beethoven. Does this mean that Britney Spears is more talented than Beethoven? I don't think so. You do incredible work. You just hit a more narrow audience. It doesn't mean that you're less artistic or talented. I'm sorry, I don't want to live in a world where Britney Spears is more talented than Beethoven (or insert your choice of composer here)

Oh yes, still below 6. Getting lots of nice votes, but the 2s & 3s are bringing it down. It's just more disappointing because I'm way too close to the subjects in my photo. Pick on my halloween entry instead, please! |
