Hi,
I am trying to find a photograph of small town americana, I think it's quite famous but I don't know who took it. It shows a house, a truck/car in a garage, I think a power plant of some kind in the background, and possibly a mountain range behind that. Looks a bit 60's.
Does anyone have the faintest idea what I am talking about, or am I going slightly mad...?
:-)
P.S. My "i" from Hi somehow ended up in the thread title..?

I think slightly mad, but in case this famous image does exist, I created an artists rendering of it based on the detailed description you provided (along with things you might've left out)...
Hopefully someone will clear your name. |

I thought the OP was talking about a famouns non-DPC photograph, by a very famous non-DPC photographer. Someone like Eggleston, but I don't think it was Eggleston. |

Ooh Eggleston is rather good!
But not him, and yes it's a non-DPC photograph. |

Yes, he is! You know, I am sure I know the picture you are talking about but I cannot for the life of me remember the guy's name. :) I'll bet Robert Bear_Music will know. |
