I am interested in seeing the answers of this simple question. If you to go on a tour then which 3 canon lenses you will prefer to keep with you. I purposefully don't want to mention the place where you are visiting is famous for landscapes, architecture or wildlife.

Currently I have no more choices in my lens kit so I will start with my available options:
1.Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS
2.Canon EF-S 55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS
3.Canon EF-S 60mm f/2.8 Macro USM

Out of what I've got I'd take
EF 35mm f/1.4L USM but I'd take the EF 24mm f/1.4 L USM II instead if I owned one.
EF 85mm f/1.2L II USM
EF 200mm f/2.8 L II USM

If it was a wildlife tour I'd take EF 500mm f/4L IS USM but it's but it's a bit heavy for carrying around 'just in case'!

I'd carry my 10-22,24-70L, and my 100-400L think that would cover every thing nicely!throw in an extension tube and the 1.4x and we'd be good to go

I don't shoot Canon, but i'd take my 14-24, 24-70, 70-200 and 1.4 and 1.7 extension tubes. That should cover all but the most extreme wildlife, for which i'd have to rent long glass.

I have every lens I ever used for a challenge listed on my profile page, but I only really own 2 lenses right now, but I feel they give me a lot of flexibility in a small package...

1. Canon 10-22
2. Canon 50/1.4
3. Canon 70-200/4

Canon EF 24-70 L
Canon EF 85 L
Canon EF 300 L

might change the 85 for my Sigi 12-24 depends on what I was gonna be shooting a lot of
10/14/2009 11:45:27 AM · #7
Sigma 12-24
24-105 F4L
70-200 F4L

and the 1.4 converter, if allowed.

I'd take

Tokina 11-16mm 2.8
Sigma 30mm 1.4
Canon 17-55mm 2.8

If I owned it, I would bring 70-200 4 instead of the 17-55.

That's easy:

1 - Canon EF-S 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5 USM (for great landscapes)
2 - Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L USM (for the architecture)
3 - Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS USM (for the wildlife)

Canon Extender EF 1.4x (not a lens per se, but I always carry this with me)

Note that the "Canon EF-S 10-22" is for cropped sensors. For full-frame, I'd use the "Canon EF 16-35mm f/2.8L USM II" lens.
