My students are going to be shooting a new assignment soon and I need examples of formal an informal balance that I could post on my blog (crediting the photographer, of course). If you post something, please let me know if its okay for me to post in my blog.

Not a very good photo, but illustrates formal balance well.
I'll see if I can find any informal balance in my other photos that aren't uploaded but the majority of mine are more unbalanced.
I guess you could say this shows some weak informal balance, but it isn't a nice clear-cut example so it's usefulness is dubious.
I'm not terribly well learned in the concepts of photography, but if you find something you like of mine, just PM me. |
