I get Rangefinder which is brilliant, but was wondering what other ones you get? |

Popular Photography, and I just subscribed to Outdoor photographer. Considering getting Photo Techniques as well, since I always seem to buy it.
I like the UK magazines, but they are expensive here even for subscription and I usually buy them when they have articles that are of particular interest. |

Popular Photography because it's cheap as dirt.
B&W is a great fine art photo magazine, and balances old and new quite nicely.
I have a trial subscription to their new sister magazine, Color. Not sure if I'll continue it. |

I get a couple of local publications called D-Photo & The Photographers Mail & a couple of UK ones, Digital Camera World & PhotoPlus. The two UK publications come with instructional cds & I have learned a lot from them. |

I used to subscribe to PopPhoto as well, but I switched to their sister publication, American Photo. PopPhoto is clearly geared towards amateurs, and their featured photography is a bit on a tacky side. American Photo features more quality stuff, and their editorials are more interesting to me. I also receive B&W and french "Photo" mag (some very interesting contemporary photography and a good excuse to practice my nascent French :)) |

Those mega thick euro mags are great. They are like $20 but so much good stuff, and minimal adverts. |

yahhh, whenever i go back to England, I stock up on all their photo mags, cos I think they are better than the American ones, more Tutorials, more How To's and hardly any adverts. I love them. |

I snagged a British Vogue and an Aussie Vogue in Borders (hard to find Italian Vogue here, and they are pricey buggers). Some really great photography in those. American Vogue is really pretty sad in comparison. I also get W magazine (cheap price for the subscription) and it has some decent work in it.
I agree--those mega-thick-euro ones are a good value.
So those are the ones I go thru for fashion/editorial/people sorts of stuff.
I get shutterbug, american photographer, popular photo, and B/W (really good). I'll probably let american photo lapse, popular photo too. Already let Outdoor photo lapse--not much content, and seemed like 85% ads to me. |

I let American Photographer lapse and cancelled my COLOR subscription, transfering it to B&W.(ditto that it's very good)Even the ads are fine art photography and there is FAR LESS advertisements in this than in most.
I buy Digital Photographer (UK) when I can find it. (quite good)

Is anyone interested in swapping some back issues, particularly of the very expensive UK mags? |
