I haven't been able to use my cable remote in over a month. I've resorted to using the camera timer, which was a bit of a bother and the images seemed to me not as sharp with the timer. Then today, I RTFM, again, and still no help. So I put the remote on the camera and tried one more time. And then I saw it. The shutter lock was on on the remote. Turned it off. Everything works find now. Yeesh! And Yeah!

I did something sort of like this once. I plugged my remote into the extension cable that i bought, But forgot to plug the extension cable into the camera. I messed around with the remote for 10 minutes checking the batteries etc, Before I finally realized what was wrong. I felt pretty stupid after that.
