I was experimenting today with some snaps of my kids and found that grain can actually look rather interesting...I didn't think I would like it but I do. So here's my first attempt at the grainy look on purpose. The shots were rather noisy anyway, taken at dusk, but I added the film grain in PS for kicks. I don't usually get into the artsy type stuff in PS because I don't know enough about it to do much worthwhile. But I'm learning! LOL :o)

I shot my choices entry at 1600 iso to get it really grainy, and I think it's basically been seen as bad, at least, from the comments so far. I think most people, as stated somewhere earlier in the thead, don't like grain, and I think it definitely adds to the photo if used correctly.

I think this would be an awesome challenge as well.
