Does the sniper suit blend in or stand out?

You'd have a REALLY hard time seeing the person. Perhaps you wouldn't be able to at all.

Yeah, like that, but not a close up. The person would be fully cammed up.

In the famous children's books, Waldo is always amidst a busy situation in his red and white striped shirt, so that once you zero in on him, you can't NOT see him. Of course that's not how all DPC voters will vote, but it's a fun thing to try and create. I didn't enter the last ones, so not sure if I'll make the attempt this year. I do have a red and white striped shirt though. :~) |

Hmmm, perhaps I leave the head uncamouflaged and take it as a wide angle, so once you find him it has the same effect.

How important do you think it is that the person is hard to find? What if it's a nice image but the person is sort of obvious? I mean, in some of the high-scoring photos from the previous Waldo challenges the person is right there, just small.
Would you take off points for an easily found Waldo? |

I wouldn't. I think the person just needs to be a secondary subject. Pretend you were taking a photo completely independent of the person in it, and I think you will do well. |

That's exactly what I was thinking too! Thanks. I already submitted my image and I am super happy with it, except for the obvious person part. |

Well I'm in and I like my shot but I hope my Waldo isn't too hard to see. |
