Just want to post this before it goes back down. :)
And a great comment too! I hope it's from one of the judges!

I honestly do not quite know what to make of this.

I think in this challenge a low score or a high score are both good. What you don't want is one of those pesky mediocre scores. Like say a mid-5 something. With no comments to speak of. In other words, a complete "ehhh".

Ehhh... I have one of those going.

My husband, who really likes this shot, jokingly predicted 4.8 when I entered it. Why does this always happen to the photos I love??? Grrrr.

You split an infinitive, so at least your grammar sucks :)

One of the comments is a glowing compliment from Louis, they're all complimentary, and one of those complimentary comments is from none other than FL, albeit a succinct one word comment.

Had to provide validation for my Fine Art entry! thing is, I already submitted it once, when I first got the notification via email. Then I got asked yet again, here on the site, and even so there is STILL a proof request. So I sent it yet a third time. And still there is proof request on the homepage. *eyeroll*

I'm in for Shadows with an artistically leaning shot....

I just got a comment on my FA. It's a very good comment in that it reveals and explains the criteria by which the commentor judges - i.e. what they would hang in their appartment. There's a definition of fine art for you.

I got the same type comment, I agree with his point of view..

Oh, crap. Shadows. That's today, isn't it? Wonder what camera I shot for that on..... I did shoot for it. Don't know if it is submittable, but I shot for it!

I'm not sure that I agree with it, but I agree with him having it :)

Me too. And then again I wonder which camera I should have shot for it with. (With which camera should I have shot it for. Which camera should I shoot, its not my fault).

So YOU'RE the one that entered the black-velvet Elvis? Heck, man, everything that ever has been sold as art, was something someone wanted to hang, but that didn't make it all "fine art" did it? I know plenty of people that wouldn't let fine art within 100 feet of their homes, but they still have stuff on the wall :-)

Doesn't matter if they can spell as long as they didn't split any infintives while they did it.

That'd be MY job, to simply do!

Ah, to simply do what no man has done before.
