Okay, this would really level the playing field. How's about a Cell phone cam challenge with basic editing. Call it a Cell phone Free Study, but the pisser is it has to be taken with a cell phone. I'm sure this has been brought up before, but I'm really curious to see what everyone would come up with. My G1 has a 3.2mp camera on it, and it records minimal exif data, but that data includes the date, which works for a challenge. Here is a pic I uploaded recently
Anyway, I would love to see a challenge like this, and even though I think it may have been mentioned before, I'm going to bring it up again because we all have cell phones, and this could be allot of fun. AFTER ALL, its not the camera that takes a good picture but the photographer and I would love to see what some DPCers could come up with...

the bummer is that not all cellphone photos has EXIF tied to it.
i'd love the idea though. |

| Another bummer is not everyones cell phones have decent camreas, some have no camera at all. The Phone I use in the States isn't the greatest camera, the one I use in New Zealand is a bit better but still unable to produce a stunning picture. However my wifes NZ phone takes really nice pics for a cell phone so I would just use hers for a challenge like this. |

Might work out very well as a side challenge then. |

Unfortunately, my Motorola KRZR doesn't have any EXIF.... :-(

We did one last November. Only had a handful of participants, but it was fun. I would participate again. |

i am totally down for this because i am having to use my cell as a camera right now

| 4 cellphones in our house, only the brand new one has a camera and it isn't mine. |
