The air show wound up being a ground show, essentially, due to significant cloud cover, but I took a picture of my middle son trying to "fly" a replica Wright Brothers plane...he looks stressed!
BTW...this is where I got the pics of the Marine Hummer in the other thread I posted today...at least there was SOMETHING cool to look at on the ground! :o)

I looove air-shows. Can't wait for the Reno, NV. show in a couple months. I missed last year's but going for sure this year.
Great shot of your son on the replica! Do they allow that (kids on it?). LOL, usually you can't get within 10 feet of the airplanes, much less lay on the wing. :D Looks like fun! |

I love planes! I have never been to an airshow and I have always wanted to go. I am afraid that if I did I would miss the entire show because my face would be glued to the camera!

Me too - Can't wait to go to Oshkosh again this year! Reno would've been nice too but a bit much since I'm also going to Norway this year. |

Are, you are going to Oshkosh this year? I will definitely be there, probably the Friday/Saturday. It's a rough trip for me, about a 55 minute drive.

Must be nice - it takes me about 14 hrs's if I drive but much less if I fly... I'm currently building another aircraft though (Van's RV-8) so I'll be driving this year.
And yes, I will be there from Thursday until Sunday. |
