I've never seen a tornado either. *pout* I've almost been hit by one, but didn't know it as I was working inside a building at the time. I've lived through several earthquakes though and they're fun. As for snow...I love snow, just not the freezing weather that usually comes with it. We routinely get down to -20f here.

never experienced an earthquake either. that would be fun.. the only think I dont want to experience is a tidal wave, i constantly have dreams about those..

the only extreme thing in australia we get is hail, floods, lightning and the occasional fire storm. I watch that ice road truckers, there situated in yellowknife and damn wouldnt mind going there sometime, those auroa things are so incredibly beautiful, nature is so amazing. If you want a boring but safe like I recommend you come to perth australia. Though becareful of the sun, it can be your bestfriend and your worst enemy.

I would be interested hearing from all you lovely americans what you would say your the best place to visit in america are, besides all those silly tourist places.

That would be a Pom, pretending to be an Aussie.......No Aussie drinks Foster's. It is an Export Beer....we export the Crap.

I love stereotypes, especailly when travelling. I don't have tatts, a pot belly, opr drink fosters, don't wear boots with shorts, don't like vegemite........also don't wear Flannelette shirts, or an Akubra..........i guess you won't pick me as an Aussie..

But then again, you might, as I won't be sowing a Canadian Flag to my Backpack like a percentage of American's do when they travel, especially young Americans. I am proud of my country and don't care if you know that where I come from.............

kai, if not for your accent, most people would associate your loud, confident nature (which might often be mistaken as arrogance) as American traits... so perhaps you should sew an Australian flag onto you backpack when traveling.

I've been all over the United States and I think the best place to visit is almost anywhere in Alaska. Or if you want the old time Americana drive Route 66.
