I just voted on every entry in the rust challenge. I feel really good about it, too, because I would want everyone to rate mine. So, do you guys usually vote on all of the photos? How often do you leave comments. And, did anyone get tired of looking at rust? Haha, I sure did. I commented on 5% of the photos, I suppose that's good enough.

I see rust EVERYWHERE now...it's like it's haunting me (or taunting me, as the case may be!).

I voted on them all and commented on 10%. That was a job! I make it a point to vote on all the entries of challenges that I have entered. Of course, I've only entered 12 (if you count opposites next week), but it's a start! I have commented on MANY entries so far, but the only challenge that I commented on every entry was the Abstract one. I try to be helpful, but sometimes I think people will think "who is she to tell me..." since I don't know what I'm doing yet! :o)

I voted on all the entries in Rust. Still adding comments in the waning moments. By the way, Lauriel -- the Hokey Pokey IS what it's all about... :-)

Well - I chugged my way through all 446 or so entries, seems like at least 100 had something to do with chains.

I also commented on 22% - meeting my goal of commenting on at least 20%.

But - I do have a question - about the way I select images to comment on. I pick one from the top, then one from the bottom - until I reach 20%. My thinking was that a) I wanted to tell the top folks how much I liked their work, and b) I felt like the bottom needed the most help and encouragement.

Now I'm wondering if that is a good method - as it "punishes" the "average" middle group because I usually can't comment on that many.

Any thoughts?

Guilty as well...I commented on the 8s, 9s, and 10s, as well as the 1s, 2s, and 3s. I left the 4s-7s out in the cold (or rust, if you will). I am just lazy...a bad girl! It does punish the average guys, which explains why I rarely have more than a few comments. It's my punishment for being mediocre. Oh well...

I always vote on EVERY single photo and try to comment on as many as possible.

Voted on all the Rusted entries and commented on 86 of them. I thought many were really good entries until I started to vote on the "Something New" challenge. That's more than tough!

This was an insane week for me, getting pictures ready for two gallery openings. I virtually always vote on all entries and try and comment on 20%, but confess that this time I'm just not going to make it.

I agree about the chains. I saw one photo, however, that really caught my eye. It did include chains, but it had the ocean as the background. I love it. Most of the other ones were a bit average.

I don't really think that it matters that you don't comment on the average photos...unless there is something that you definitely think you should comment on, there's really no reason to.

Stats: You have rated 442 of 443 images (100%) in this challenge.
You have commented on 442 images (100%) in this challenge.

I was pretty busy. I didn't even get time to enter the Something New II or Opposites challenges. Such a martyr I am. LOL A much needed break from entering stuff just for the sake of entering actually.

I voted and commented on about 45 of the rust photos. means my votes will probably be thrown out again, but I got in 45 in depth crits, so it's ok by me about the votes. I dont like to vote without a comment, so it's impossible for me to make it through all the photos.

hehehe. I really did think about it but then thought there was no way I would be able to get thru 20% for any of it to count!

Voted and commented on 100%, and I actually got a nice picture for the "Centered" challenge. Much, much better than my recent entries.

Thanks to all of you that commented on my voting format, looking forward to hearing from more of you.

Just keep shootin' and most of all have FUN!!

So far, since I've belongs to DPC I've voted on every picture in every challenge. It is much, much easier since we got DSL a few weeks ago! I try to comment on as many as possible, too - lots of times I pick from the middle ones to comment as it seems like top pics and low pics get lots of comments but middle pics go without.
