Stitching together photos taking during a time-lapse session with the D700 to make an avi file, which software for PC is recommended by those that do time-lapse photography? It doesn't have to be free. I want something that can do it nicely and have possibly an 'easy' and 'hard' mode depending on the mood I'm in during the project. Movie Salsa is about the only thing I could find that would do what I want, but before putting any cash down I hoped for some input.

i don't know much on the subject but i do know (and have done it) that if you have quick time pro you can tell it to grab all your picture sequentially and give it a time in between frames (i.e. 1/20 of a second) and it does all for you automatically.

Virtualdub can do it. No cash needed.

I've done this in PS by creating an animation though would probably have to load it into Adobe Premier Elements to get the right movie format.
