If they do that then we could all go over to their house and decapitate all their plants! Mwahaha!

Wouldn't that be grounds for disqualification though...even after voting is done? |

Not meeting the challenge is no longer grounds for disqualification.

And some serious pudding throwing. |

I've got four boxes of Royal brand chocolate pudding and I'm not afraid to use them. |

Do you think Jello would work? I have six boxes I didn't end up using for the opposites challenge. |

It might if it doesn't set all the way. Pudding just has a better splat factor. |

Jello would be good for pretty colours, but I think pudding would be more effective for coverage ... |

This challenge seems to be confusing us all regarding what`s asked for.
The guideline says " Shoot something you have never ENTERED before from someplace you have never taken pictures before."
My submission meets both criteria..but I`m still getting remarks like "Can`t believe you have never taken a --------- picture before" and my score being cut as a result.
The way I see it..this is basically a free study as long as you haven`t entered this type of picture to a previous challenge and that the location is new to you. |

Same here, I only have 1 comment, says: I can't belive you have never taken a picture of the ...., regardless it's a nice one.
Well I didn't.

This is exactly why I didn't enter.

I'm not doing well either, and I was very pleased with my photo. Looks like I may have my two worst scorers right now.. going for the brown ribbon in Rusted and Something New II's not far ahead ;) |

Well.... I may just ignore a DQ request this time around. LOL. Still 3.9 after 40 votes, and not one comment. |

Too much paranoia out there.

Would euthanasia be considered reasonable grounds for DQ? Failing that, is there a way to retroactively change my title to include "If you give me a 1, you must be stoopid."

6.4 to 4.6 in 27 votes. I also receive very helpful and highly intelligent comments like "I'm not sure what this is" and "Why are ...(dark areas) so dark?".
Should I respond and express my sympathies or attempt an explanation of the distribution of light on the reflective properties of respective objects and matter at varying times of the day and night?

Well, I showed my entry to my dog. He didn't like as much as a steak either, but his reponse was more reasonable and better articulated.

40 votes, 5.8317, 1 comment. I thought this picture was actually one of my best yet, but then again, I thought that about my "Rusted" entry, which is sitting at 5.51 right now. I'm not going to complain, beg for mercy, or otherwise grovel. I am happy with my entry and that's what counts! :o)
I do want to add that there are some REALLY great pictures in this challenge. Voting will be fun, because there is such a diverse field of entries. I do, however, thank the maker that there are not 443 of them!!!! ;')

Wow, I was just recommended for DQ and need to show my proof. That's funny. This was advanced editing right? You are allowed to use the stamp tool to cover a piece of lint and use curve adjustments right? If so, I am set.
I'll let you know how it goes...
