I'll bet the miniature challenge will show even heavier use, I know my entry is way over the top.
This has been a fun thread to lurk in, keep it up.

I don't think I'm revealing a thing when I say "Look for some one Topazed Lensbabies in *that* challenge, LOL!"

Oh, a little of this and a little of that. I started with cntrl-alt-tilde contrast masking to produce a much flatter midtoned image, then went to town with topaz, detailed and simplify vivacity I think were on the menu... I didn't keep close track because the cropped image is so tiny it was just pixelating like crazy. The main thing was to produce a flat enough original to work from. You may have noticed, topaz tends to work best if you start with an original with no pronounced brights or darks, which ideally you do by generating a flattish original out of RAW...

They had a Model-T show in town today. My wife works across the street from this and she had to work today. She saw these and told me to get my butt over there with the camera. I'm glad I did. I had a nice talk with a guy from the club and I learned more about the Model-T than I ever wanted to know.

I finally broke down and got a free trial.
I don't have a clue what I'm doing, but I kinda liked how this came out.

Just ran into this in the Topaz group on Flickr. You can find a nice review with a coupon code for 10% off your Topaz order at Stuck in Customs |
