I know what you mean. One of my shots that I was sure to be top 10 with took me to 6 hours to do. I got 16th place (Water challenge:Poison). A few weeks later I took a shot in 45 min, wasn't sure which challenge to submit it too and won second place (Rule of thirds) :s

5 votes later, and my score dropped a bit. I dont mind though, I expected a lot lower before the challenge started. I am ecstatic about the views though... almost 500.

What does that tell you? To me, I'd say that your over thinking about how to produce a high scoring image rather than capturing an image that strikes your fancy and happens to meet the challenge subject.

Naw, not at all. As soon as we started I dropped below 5.6 -- I've scratched my back up to 5.61 but it keeps bouncing down and back up. I think you might have this one. Are you in nightmare? |

oh my gosh! I didn't get any new votes, but my score just plummeted! My last vote was a 4, when I put the updated average into the spreadsheet it went to a -2!
Either multiple people just dropped my score, or someone dropped it from like a 9 to a 3. ouch! |
