... your eye decides to pop a blood vessel and you:

1) first of all rush to take a photo of it
2) complain about the harsh catch lights and wonder if you should try that again with more diffused light
3) wonder if you should clone out the messy remnants of eye shadow
4) finally go see a doctor about the eye.

If only this had happened at Halloween - I could have made use of it at that time!

Feel free to add your own photo craziness!

Eee gads! How does that happen? Does it hurt at all?

I'm not sure anyone wants me adding my photo to the thread. A few weeks ago I got a stomach flu, had diarrhea, and horrible cramping, which caused my intestines to bleed. I was supposed to be collecting "samples" after my trip to urgent care, but hadn't eaten all day, so there was no "sample" to be had; just a blob of blood and 1 single pea from the dinner the night before. I took a photo of it to email to my mom who is a nurse... with a macro flash from below the "sample" container and my SB900 bounced off the bathroom ceiling... adjusted the brightness/contrast, hue/saturation, and cropped it for better composition.

My dad said "It's almost pretty if I didn't know what it was!" Dad, who is also a photographer appreciated the complimentary colors of the green pea and blood.

Apparently is just simply happens, no reason whatsoever.
And no, no pain. In fact, I have to concentrate on blinking to feel anything odd at all.
The doctor said it should turn all sorts of pretty colors over the next two weeks (much like a bruise does).

That is a funny story. Sadly, the majority vote seems to be against you sharing the photo :-)

So what you're saying is, "More photos to come!" I can't wait, heh.

I woke up with that same thing one morning after I had been violently sick during the night from some food poisoning. Funny thing was, that same morning at work, after I had freaked everybody out, one of my customers walked in with exactly the same thing. Odd.

When you get all dressed up with friends for a dance and then realize you'd rather take photos now that you are dressed up than actually go to the dance and make the group late trying to get in any photos you can.

I decided we'll just have to dress up again and do a shoot. :)

My boss came in one time with one and didn't even know it was there! Luckily I was the first person he ran across and my "OMG - what the hell happened to your eye?!?" let him know that something was up rather than wondering why everyone was staring at him! What can I say - I'm a giver!

Not my finger, but Becky-lee's. I wasn't there when the stitches went in but I wasn't going to miss them coming out. Thank goodness our doctor is a photographer himself, and was very understanding about me getting my lens in his work :)

My 14 y.o. daughter just asked me to take her to the thrift shop to find cool clothes to do a shoot for her various profile pics for web presencers.

WOO HOO!!!!

She's gorgeous and has a classy, unique style!

When you suffer withdrawal symptoms from PS! Soon in fact I will be going down to town on SSI and ask a graphic design firm if I can plese use one of their computers to PS my entries for Out of Place and Candid. Yes, I did try in-camera editing and Picasa, but both only have fairly basic functions.
