still waiting for my email saying it was an ahh haa funny and good for them good for them...bother I have enough issues even gettin a decent score and to get that frikken email well it really did not sit well.........I want my money back'

I was really pleased they DQ'ed my photograph early & even more pleased that they let me replace it with something else so that I can still participate in the challenge.

| I actually cried! Not that my picture is doing very well, but I just couldn't beleive it! I told my husband and he laughed at me and then reminded me that it was April 1st! Nice one guys! |

| i was quite offended they thought I had used something illegal in my image and I feel they can kiss my ass. April fool's or not (it's April 2nd here anyways) they can still kiss my ass. |

June 2nd isn't know for a day of tomfoolery and good-humored jokes and teasing, is it? Also, before anyone says anything, April Fools has become something of an international phenomenon, so it's not just North Americans that can appreciate it.
The site, apparently, also has a long-standing tradition pertaining to this day.
So your question is rather moot. |

I love to enter the April Fool's challenges! The funniest one was when they posted one of my worst photos on the left side as a highlighted photo. I thought I was going to have a heart attack!
Every April Fool's Day...I have to say the Site Council never disappoints...haha! |

I still don't have my priorities right. Returned home, checked the e-mail, wrote stuffy reply, THEN checked DPC only to find my entry still in its miserable place in the lineup.
Had huge laugh, and wrote unstuffy note to the admins.
You never know what these guys will come up with. That is the one constant here.
Oh,yes. Next time, return home, check DPC, then check e-mail.

I think questions of whether it is "funny" or not are irrelevant, actually. There's no requirement whatsoever that April Fool's pranks be funny; in fact, to the degree that they *are* obviously funny, they miss the mark. The whole point is to get unsuspecting victims to swallow the lie hook, line, and sinker, and apparently it worked :-)

I couldn't agree more.
I'm actually really pleased that I read these forums at work before I got home to check my email. It probably saved me a few more grey hairs wondering what I had done wrong before I realised it was an April Fools day prank. |
