This is shot for a competition/collective project here in Korea (through flickr). The idea was that we should create a dream sequence.

The stipulations were that the first two frames should be:

1. Preparing for bed
2. Asleep

The following three frames were to be in the dream.

I originally had the 4th and 5th images in the opposite order as I felt the composition worked better, but my model, muse, and owner of my life said she liked them better this way.

I still feel that the darkness of her hair simply stops the flow of the images.

I'd really appreciate feedback on that decision, and anything at all that might improve these shots, or the over all composition.

Thanks guys!

I like the version posted. Her eye leads you into the final frame and the feet walk you out of the sequence.

It's beautifully done either way, but I tend to agree with you about the original arrangement.

First off I want to say I like what you have but if I were to change anything here are my thought.

I like 2-5, the left image does not really convey the preparing for bed IMO and the tone of the image is distracting, I would also like the skin tones to match a little more on the sleep photo but thats just my personal opinion. I really like the way the idea can be conveyed in a dream, nicely done.

I agree with the above. With the current order there is a sense of symmetry EXCEPT for the first picture which feels like it shouldn't be there. I would mirror the last image in the first, with feet implying a movement towards/into bed, and probably moving left to right.

I like the limited colour.
