Just 12 weeks - due New Years Eve :) Last time I was sick till 20 weeks, so I don't have great hopes for a speedy recovery, but at least it generally means that things are going well with the baby.

Well that is absolutely fantastic news. Now don't go planning any big parties on NYE!!!!

Thanks Judi :) You guys didn't want to be travelling anywhere with the incredible puking woman anyway, but I really am sorry I won't be able to make it to the GTG. I've been looking forward to it for months.

And I promise I won't be torturing anyone in the Free Studies with 'stylish' partially nude pregnancy photos - baa haa!

Well still good to go for the GTG looks like we should make it the 8th judi ..you have a place to meet ..maybe at ya hotel ..or circular quay time?

Well it seems everyone is set for the 8th....so we can go for that date. I am staying at Rydges, North Sydney (link to map)....so if that is easy for everyone....you guys can decide the meeting point and itinerary for the day. Does everyone want to go for a day or half a day?

Well i,m coming from the mountains so circular quay is a good meeting point i reackon, i,m ok for the full or half day plenty to see and do i think MichaelChad a few ideas judi

if a day starts at 5am then i'll definitely meet you guys later ..
i could be at north sydney about 11.30 .. if that doesnt suit then tell me where i can meet you around that time .. :)

It probably would be best to meet at either Darling Harbour or Circular Quay for photo opportunities. Just my two cents worth.

Okay if you can all organise time aned place and duration of gtg that would be great. I will PM you all my Mobile number and if someone can call me with the details that would be great. I head off in 3 days.

if its a choice between darling harbour and circular quay then i'd prefer darling harbour coz i can park easily there ..
of course it depends on the timing as well .. i can be at darling harbour around 11 or 11.30 .. :)

From what I'm reading most people are ok with the 8th, so let's settle on that.
Now can we please see some concensus on whether we want mainly social or photographic activities? I'm also getting the feeling most ppl want a few hours as opposed to the whole day.

Personally while meeting at darling harbour would be ok I wouldn't want to stay there as that is what we did last time, but if that's what everyone else wants, then ok.

Here is a suggestion:- Oxford St Paddington
Highlights:
Plenty of Cafe's, pubs, eateries
ACP - Australian Centre of Photography - always a couple of free exhibitions on there.
Paddington Reservoir - a terrific secret garden great for photography or to just sit & chill
Easy access by public transport or car
Close to city
