I entered my best ever photo, but it will end up dq'd, but it was all that I could enter. Definitely my best work, so I had to do it. Better to be dq'd than not enter at all...

I don't know what the big deal is anyway I am not going to win. I am thinking that one of the superstars of photos will win by a landslide. Pedro maybe, I bet he has some good stuff hidden.

I don't believe that anyone will win by a landslide, in fact rather by the very merest of margins in the hundreths. There will certainly be a record number of 10s, 9s, 8s, etc. And hopefully no record on the bottom of the scale--I mean, best of your life, you have to have SOMEthing that won't disappoint! ;-)

Well I have only been shooting for a couple years - so I was limited to begin with ..... then you throw in a computer crash and well..... let's say I hope nobody looks at my entry and says "wow, that's the best she has ever done?!?!" edited to add: I wouldn't enter at all because I don't feel I have a "Best Of" shot but since this is part of DPCO I am in..... argh!!

Thanks SC for this challenge. I got to go back through some of my early digital shots (how I regret giving that camera to my son), and relive some great memories. I wound up with more than one shot to enter, and had to close my eyes and pick. Hope I picked right.

It occurs to me that even with EVERYONE submitting their BESTEST EVER shot, there is STILL going to be a Brown Ribbon :-)

And a helluva Brown Ribbon it will be.

We should have a pool for Dq's also! I figure alot of people do not submit very often who entered this challenge and will not have read the rules and done some illegal editing. I would say there could be at least 20 or so DQ's. Happy 1000th challenge SC! :P

I meant that the quality of the brown ribbon winner in THIS challenge could have been a blue ribbon for any other challenge.
