This is one intense challenge. I spent ALL week trying to find, edit, and perfect my shot that I just barely turned in. I'l be satisfied with above a 5.5 for this particular challenge, heck, even top 50% would be cool too.

Agreed - esp as some of us still have dial-up, but I would love to vote and do some commenting. You have any idea how sore a girl's arm can get turning the hand-crank on the side of the computer?! |

No, not at all. I purposely entered something that is not the same type as anything in my top 10 images. So all the ones I know would do well I did not use. :)

I am going to boldly predict that it will take a minimum of a 7.5 to be in the top 10. (although I do think with all the amazing shots we are going to see that it will tend to be judged more harshly then normal)

This is my first entry in... well, it's getting close to two years now, isn't it?
Couldn't resist, since this was a chance to enter something old that is a personal favourite of mine. It will definitely be in the bottom 5%, if not the very bottom but, hey - who cares? The competition is way too stiff on something like this, so I thought it'd be kind of fun to throw in a, "What? Why is that here?" entry to confuse everybody. Yay! ;) |

Just thought of this...does anyone remember what happened the last time we had a challenge with over the 800 mark?
With a 1,000 entries the system is going to have tons o fun computing the results:-)
I predict several hours of seeing the lovely DPC logo stating that it is computing challenge results when rollover hits :-O What will we DO while going through withdrawls!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

HOURS?! It's hard enough making it until midnight to see results (though it's kinda fun when I do) I don't think I'll stay up for that one. |

Hehe, not really, but Spring is around the corner and I've been meaning to dust off the old camera.
I thought I'd enter this monumental challenge just for fun. I'm entering my favorite shot of all time. It didn't take long to figure out which one. It took me all of 5 minutes to edit.

| I'm finally done tweaking my entry. It's been submitted for 2 days but tweaked and resubmitted multiple times ;-). I've very excited about this challenge. Regardless of how my photo does, I am very happy with what I have and how it turned out. I feel like I am putting my best shot to date out there. |
