As I mentioned before, I have an enlarger at work and it breaks my heart to see it dumped in the trash. Wouldn't anyone like it? Free? It's in Boston. I have an offer from Indiana but that involves shipping.

Guess it's a dying art.

If I were in Boston or anywhere nearby...

Thanks for posting it. Maybe try a post at apug.org.

I can be there Monday the 14th if this is still available! I can't imagine the fun I could have with this.. Tom

12.15.09... Thanks for rescuing this nice enlarger, Ellen. I guess I have to build a darkroom around it now!

When you get it built, put liquid light emulsions on your list of things to try...but be careful if you print on plexiglass!!!

A teaser for what's coming up (when I get it scanned/photographed):

drawing and painting on photographs, whee!

I'm experimenting with homemade and DIY optics. Here, I used one of those credit card magnifiers for a lens.

I dropped off a roll of 35mm c41 today. I was using the 35mm on vacation to get wider shots with my 15mm fisheye. It gets 180 degrees with a 35mm, and only about 120 degrees with my digital Fuji.
Be back with photos, probably tomorrow evening.

A note to emorgan49 ... the darkroom is under construction. Progress is a tad slow (I am not an experienced carpenter!) but the enlarger is the perfect centerpiece. Can't wait to get it completed! Thank you so much!!

My new film camera. I think I will read the directions before I get too far in to it...
