I just went to check out Lifehacker, like I do everyday, and ran straight into one of my own photos used in the header for a career article. Appropriate, I suppose, as this pic was an earlier version of the shot I entered in the "Your Occupation" challenge.

"Jump to a new career" on Lifehacker.com

They did give me credit, and a link to the image on my Flickr page, so I'm not really upset, and I do think I have it uploaded with a creative commons license. It's just surprising to go to a site like that and see my own photo on the front page.

Yes. I'm rather pleased, However, usually someone will PM me asking to use my photo. I suppose with a blog style site like this, they just need to use it in a hurry, and if it has a creative commons license, they just go ahead with it.

Cool. I'd be pretty happy if someone found a photo of mine useful like that. Great to get exposure!

Oh, I never thought of your name as Yo Spiff. I thought it was Yos Piff. ;-)

Actually, there's an interesting story behind it: //www.dpchallenge.com/forum.php?action=read&FORUM_THREAD_ID=873885&page=2

Maybe I should ask for a name change. I don't think we can use spaces here, but I could get it changed to Yo_Spiff. Most people would probably not notice the change.

Submitted a name change request. I don't think this change will confuse anybody.

When I joined this site, it was not important how the name was read, because it was just used to log in, but it makes a difference now. I also never realize how many different ways that could be read. Thanks for letting me know.

I always thought it was: Yo, Spiff!

(Having seen Spaceman Spiff myself!)
