lol! no, ive paid about $35-$40 for each one(i read them all then i was little). even thought they are old, they're still really good books:)

Well, i have accomplished one of my photography dreams. i got to shoot my first MMA fight tonight, even got a ringisde seat for one fight(until they kicked me out for being in a $1000 seat when i only paid $25:)

Woot! Some VERY nice scores going up in Candid for the Team Suckers. Not surprising, really. Candids are "of the moment" and by gosh, we do that pretty well, I think. :-)

I just wanted to share some good news with my team mates here at the base camp. After a very long 6 week effort, I landed the job I have been wanting. I will finally be using my education and doing what I love almost as much as I love photography. It also comes with a nice little pay raise.

A little haggling. I brought the area rug from $20 down to $10. The books I didn't haggle on, they were already $5, and hey, I'm not going to say no to that. I'm not EVIL.

The love seat, however, was completely free. They were definitely just wanting it gone, and it's in FANTASTIC shape, and it's SOOO comfy.

As for MMA, that stands for Mixed Martial Arts, and is the name for the sport encompassing, of which UFC is the largest organization thereof. Much like the NHL is the largest and most well-known organization in Hockey.

yeh, like K10 said, its mixed matrial arts, so stuff like judo, ju jit zu(yeh i dont know my spelling), boxing, wrestling all combined. its really awesome, they have fights on Spike all the time if you want to check it out(its kinda boring at first to tell you the truth)
