I was debating on whether or not to put this in my profile or not... I saw someone with the flag counter sans the text and website address written on the image file. Wonder how they did that...

I just wish it didn't count my own visits, as I like to use my profile as a quick way to check for action on recently-posted threads. It's soon going to look like every person in Canada has dropped by...

Mine has only counted me once - and i use my profile page in much the same way as you....

Wow, you mean I really AM getting visitors?

From the FAQ page:

After your first visit we set a cookie, so that a visitor is only counted once.

So looks like you are popular!

Edit - if I look at your profile it is just showing visit from Canada.... ;¬(

Ahh, so each time I clear my cookies I'll be counted again. I guess I can factor those in, as long as it's not counting me a hundred thousand times a day :D

If you have pagecount set to show, then yes, it shows each time you visit your own page, but it shouldn't increase the flag count for your coutnry. Make sense?

Plus it makes you feel as if lots of people visit your page.

I re-did mine with background color, more columns, and pageviews. I needs me some more Flags, people!!

Let's all go browsin profiles, bumpin them flag counts

ya know, I am thinking of putting one of these in an individual image photographer's comments field, just to see where views are comin from. for fun.

Alain, did you add in the text for "since January..." on yours? And everyone should now have at least one flag from Germany! :-)

Thanks for the flag :)

After you mentioned the text I went back and looked and you can customize that part, and since I know nothing about scripting I tried it and copied the changes it made.

Where it says "viewers=0" I changed it to "viewers=Visitors+since+Feb+09"

Hmmm, now we need a campaign to get Papa more flags than his son :D I gave you a Canuckian one.
