So my FS was OK for January, I know people are not too much on the HDR in many cases. I applied it to this picture a little bit though

I don't find it too noticeable, but definitely not a 'natural' photo. Comments welcome!!

Not noticeable HDR. Blown lights and shadows without texture - the opposite of what you'd want when you shoot for HDR. On closer look, the hat looks HDR-like, but the even lighting on the face could be natural.

Well, you obviously need help with your HDR or you're gonna give all us serious practitioners a bad name, so I've taken the liberty of doing this right for you. Study and learn, grasshopper:



(In case anyone is missing it, this post is intended to be funny. Heavyj has done a pretty nice job of using the HDR without exaggerating to the point of cartoonishness. It would be interesting to see the original, so people can appreciate just how much he's pulled out of the shadows [assuming my guess as to what it looked like is correct] without making the whole unnatural.)
